Business Chinese for companies in Shanghai
AEF trains your teams in professional Chinese, in your offices or ours. The programme starts from your staff's actual level and from the situations they face every day: the meeting in Mandarin, the negotiation with a supplier, the email that gets a reply.
Two formats
- In-company — we come to your offices, at the times you set. The programme is built from your real context: your suppliers, your clients, your industry.
- Evening classes — your staff join a cross-company group at our campus. Less tailored, but more flexible.
Online and one-to-one formats also available. Groups limited to 6 people.
Who it is for
Companies, managers and professionals, from HSK 1 level upwards, in Shanghai and Suzhou. Complete beginners are welcome — we build the programme from zero if needed.
The Business Chinese course
30 hours over 10 weeks. At the end of the programme, your staff can:
- Introduce themselves and their company in Mandarin
- Handle a basic business meeting or negotiation in Chinese
- Read and write simple professional messages in Chinese characters
- Understand Chinese colleagues in a work context
- Navigate daily life in Shanghai: restaurants, taxis, small talk

Do our employees need any prior Chinese?
No. We start from zero if needed. A placement test shows each person's level before the programme is built.
